A lot to update...
Note: Extra help will be offered after school on Monday next week.
Standard Math 7
No homework for the weekend. To accommodate needed extra practice on median, the lesson and homework on scatter plots will be pushed back to Monday.
Pre-Algebra
Due to Team 7A team building activities, our schedule has changed:
Homework: Chapter 1 review. Log on to ASSISTments and look for the chapter review assignment. The assignment includes the problem numbers you are responsible for.
Test review will be held Monday in class and after school for those wishing to attend. Chapter 1 test is Tuesday.
I believe that si all for now. Have a great weekend!

PLEASE NOTE: I am unable to post the ASSISTments portion of the assignment right now. We will do it in class tomorrow (as long as technology cooperates!).
Great discussion in class today about "Thomas' Conjecture" which basically states that given only the circumference of a circle, you can never really know the exact area or given only the area, you can never know the exact circumference. Parents: See if your Pre-Algebra student can explain this. We had some great thinking in class!

Also note that homework will be posted nightly as opposed to the weekly schedule from last year.
